THURSDAY 24th DECEMBER 2009 - CHRISTMAS EVE
3.00pm	LOUISE'S "CREAM TEA" Washed down with lots of piping hot tea with home-made preserves and chantilly cream in the hall and lounge.
4.00pm	CHRISTMAS BELLS ARE RINGING Ringing the changes with campanology
5.00pm	IN THE BUS FOR CHRISTINGLE Phillip and Richard take you to St Mary's Church in Ambleside for Carols and festive stuff.
7.30pm	PHILLIP'S "SPECIAL WINE" A refreshing wine, which is a particular favourite in the old hall. An ideal opportunity to meet fellow guests and staff.
8.15pm	CHINESE BANQUET An oriental feast in the north of England with special coffee.
	"GUESS THE WEIGHT OF THE CAKE" A skilled game for the whole family.
10.00pm	PHILLIP'S FUN BINGO RETURNS By public demand light hearted fun, you have to be in it to win it.
	IT'S TIME FOR BED AS WE DON'T WANT TO MISS SANTA!

FRIDAY 25th DECEMBER 2009 - CHRISTMAS DAY
8.45-9.15am	CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST Warm danish pastries and croissants served in your room as you play with your toys.
12.00pm	BUCKS FIZZ AND PRESSIES A gift from us to you.
1.00pm	CHRISTMAS DINNER Traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. Santa might still be in the area and may call in if we have been good boys and girls!
7.00pm	CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL This will set you right for Dinner.
7.30pm	A RELAXING BUFFET How much can you manage of this great food? ...lots and lots?
10.00pm	RICHARD'S QUIZ IN THE OLD HALL Rock, pop and classic music quiz with some general knowledge questions too. Prizes and drinks for the guests who come second!
12.00am	COME ON...ONE MORE ROUND The brain is getting tired now!

SATURDAY 26th DECEMBER 2009 - BOXING DAY
9.30am	THE VICTORIAN BREAKFAST A gourmet breakfast. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!
11.00am	A WALK IN THE COUNTRY SIDE Good shoes, a good walk and good company.
1.30pm	"WINTER WARMERS" Cointreau, Tia Maria and coffee. WOW!
2.00pm	CLUB SANDWICHES AND FRIES A little sustenance to keep you all going.
3.00pm	CAROLS AND SONGS BY THE PIANO Peter Brown and Cragwood singing Soc. Guests bursting blood vessels and into songs.
4.30pm	TEA, COFFEE AND CHRISTMAS CAKE This will keep the hunger pangs at bay.
7.30-8.00pm	A GOURMET DINNER WITH WINE Phillip suggests wines. Taste a different wine with each course from around the world.
10.00pm	MAGIC NIGHT Our new magic man does what we cannot, to be seen to be believed!

SUNDAY 27th DECEMBER 2009
9.00-10.00am	BREAKFAST A hearty start to your day, in preparation for your voyage.
10.30am	CHRISTMAS CRUISE ON LAKE WINDERMERE Just walk down the garden path or in Phil's bus.
12.30pm	LUNCH IN THE OLD DINING ROOM After all the fresh air appetites are at breaking point we must have our special buffet. After which we rest in front of Cragwood's crackling log fires.
	ALAS IT'S TIME TO DEPART, PAY BILLS AND SAY GOODBYE'S. FEAR NOT THOUGH, WE HAVE MADE A PARTING AFTERNOON SNACK BAG FOR YOU TO TAKE HOME! (We don't want you to get Cragwood withdrawal symptoms too quickly!) I'm now going home to put my feet up with Mrs Claus. Everything you would experience at the Cragwood is only made possible by having a great team of staff. Housekeeping - Jane, Ann-Marie and Anna.
