Cragwood House was originally designed by Frank Dunkley
and built in 1910 for the industrialist Albert Warburton.
The House was featured in the August edition of Country
Life, 1912, and noted for 'the well modelled plaster work that adorns
the beams of the reception rooms', fine internal joinery and 'interesting
adaptation of building methods to climate'.
