A traditional wood panelled hall leads into three
comfortable lounges. These offer the perfect ambience for relaxation;
light and airy in the summer, cosy and warm in the winter with crackling
log fires.
The Nixon Lounge is named after a famous local gardener
who has restored the grounds of Cragwood to their former splendour.
The Lounge opens out onto the water gardens and a path that leads down
to the shores of Lake Windermere.
The Library, part of the original building,
provides traditional comfort with beautiful views of the gardens and
lake.
