The history of Wedding Cakes goes back as far as the Roman Empire, and today, takes centre stage in the traditional cake cutting and sharing ceremony. This provides a lovely piece of symbolism; the mutual commitment of the bride and groom to provide for one another.

Here, at the Cragwood Country House Hotel, we provide a specialist Wedding Cake Design Service. With over 10 years experience you can rest assured that your cake will be expertly made using quality ingredients, fantastic recipes and decorated with fine attention to detail and design.

We work closely along side the bride and groom in order to create a cake which reflects their personal tastes and style.

We recommend a consultation with our designer, Kate Sumsion. Our cakes range from traditional to comtemporary, classically elegant to humorous. The only limit is your imagination.
